These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CiteFlow, an AI visibility scanning and optimization service operated by CiteFlow. By submitting a URL for a scan, creating an account, subscribing to the Standard plan, buying an add-on, or using an automated workflow, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
CiteFlow runs a multi-dimension SEO/AEO/GEO audit on the public website you submit and returns an AI visibility score from 0 to 100. The service is currently offered in the following tiers and purchase types:
- Free. Anonymous scan with score and business risk preview. Sign in to unlock the top 3 critical issues teaser.
- Standard - $99 / month or $831 / year. A recurring subscription that unlocks full audit reports, AI-generated executive summaries, and ongoing rescan service. The annual cycle is priced at a 30% discount relative to monthly. Both cycles unlock identical core quotas; only billing frequency differs.
- Add-ons. Optional one-time purchases that add URL slots, rescan packs, or Visibility report credits to an eligible account.
2. Standard lifetime base resources
On your first-ever Standard subscription, monthly or annual, we grant lifetime base resources: 3 URL slots and 3 AI executive reports, one per claimed URL. These base resources persist after normal subscription cancellation or expiry: unused URL slots remain claimable, generated reports remain viewable, and unused AI report quota remains usable, subject to feature availability and these Terms. Re-subscribing after a previous cancellation does not re-grant these base resources.
Lifetime base resources are part of the Standard subscription grant. They are treated differently from separately purchased add-ons when a full refund is issued, as described in section 6.
3. Add-ons
Add-ons can be purchased only from an eligible account, and the product UI controls which add-ons are available for your current plan state.
- +1 URL slot. A one-time add-on that grants one additional URL slot. Unless the product states otherwise at purchase, the purchased slot is a lifetime account credit once granted, and a claimed URL remains associated with your account.
- +20 rescans. A one-time rescan pack that adds a finite quantity of rescans. Rescan packs are tied to the active subscription period shown in the product unless the product or a refund workflow records a longer expiry. Rescans and automated rescan scheduling require an active eligible subscription.
- +1 Visibility report. A one-time add-on that grants one additional AI Visibility report credit. Unless the product states otherwise at purchase, the purchased credit is a lifetime account credit. Generated reports remain viewable from your account.
Add-on credits are personal to your account, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash. If an add-on charge is refunded, reversed, or charged back, we may remove, disable, or reduce the corresponding add-on credit or feature access.
4. Active-subscription features
Some features require an active Standard subscription even if you have lifetime base resources or separately purchased add-ons. These include recurring rescans, use of period-bound rescan packs, active monitoring and reminders, purchasing new add-ons, and optional automated fix workflows where enabled. If your subscription expires, is canceled at period end, or is fully refunded, these active-subscription features may stop immediately or at the end of the paid period, depending on the event.
5. Eligibility and acceptable use
- You must be 16 or older to use CiteFlow.
- You may only submit URLs for websites you own or have permission to scan. Scanning URLs you do not have permission to analyze may violate the target site's terms of service or applicable law.
- You may not use the service to attack, overload, scrape competitive intelligence at scale, or test third-party security without authorization.
- You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, replicate, or extract our scan engine, scoring rules, or AI prompts.
- You may not resell or sublicense the service without a written agreement.
6. Pricing, billing, cancellation, and refunds
- Standard is billed by Stripe as a recurring subscription at $99/month or $831/year. The annual cycle is charged as a single up-front payment per year.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are never stored on our servers.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page. Cancellation stops the next renewal but does not refund the current period.
- The billing cycle, monthly or annual, is immutable for the duration of the period. Cycle changes apply at the next renewal anniversary, not mid-period.
- If a renewal payment fails, the subscription enters a grace period (
past_due) during which Stripe retries the charge. If retries fail, the subscription expires and paid features are suspended. Standard lifetime base resources remain accessible after ordinary expiry, subject to these Terms. - Prices are exclusive of taxes; applicable taxes are added at checkout.
6.1 Subscription refunds
- Monthly plan. No refunds are issued for monthly charges. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the current period.
- Annual plan - 7-day cooling-off with limited usage. You may request a full refund within 7 days of the annual charge provided your usage during that window is within the cooling-off limits published on our Pricing page.
- Effect of a full refund. The Standard subscription terminates immediately. Base Standard URL slots, base report quota, and active-subscription features lose paid access and may be treated as free-equivalent resources. Separately purchased add-ons are handled under their own add-on terms and are not automatically removed unless the add-on purchase is also refunded, reversed, or charged back.
- Annual plan - beyond 7 days or higher usage. Outside the cooling-off window, refunds are offered on a pro-rata basis for unused months, at our discretion. Usage exceeding the cooling-off limits during that window may disqualify the subscription from any refund.
- Service failure. If we are unable to deliver the subscribed service for reasons attributable to us, contact support@citeflow.io and we will review a fair refund.
6.2 Add-on refunds
Add-ons are generally non-refundable once granted or consumed unless required by law or approved by us in writing. If we refund an add-on, we may remove or disable the corresponding URL slot, rescan pack, Visibility report credit, generated report access, or related feature access. Add-on refunds do not automatically refund the Standard subscription.
7. Free scan and account features
- Anonymous scan results are retained for up to 90 days and may be deleted earlier at our discretion.
- We may send signed-in users periodic reminder nudges about unresolved issues where permitted. You can opt out at any time.
8. GitHub and automated fixes
If you connect GitHub or request automated fixes, you authorizeCiteFlow to process the repository, branch, issue, and pull request data needed to create or track the requested workflow. Automated fixes are suggestions only. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, approving, merging, deploying, and maintaining any generated change. We do not guarantee that a generated fix will be correct, complete, secure, non-infringing, or suitable for your codebase.
Unless the product explicitly says otherwise, CiteFlow may open or update pull requests but will not merge pull requests, deploy code, or modify production infrastructure without your separate action. You can disconnect repository access through the connected provider or your account settings where available.
9. Intellectual property
- The CiteFlow platform, scan engine, scoring rules, AI prompts, and brand are the property of CiteFlow, CiteFlow, and their licensors.
- You retain all rights to your website content, repository content, and reports generated for the URLs you submit.
- You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use generated reports for your own internal business purposes. Public redistribution or resale of report content requires prior written permission.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- AI visibility scoring reflects our current methodology and is not a guarantee of search ranking, AI citation outcomes, or revenue.
- We do not guarantee specific traffic, ranking, citation, conversion, or business outcomes from applying our recommendations.
- Scan completion times and service availability are not guaranteed. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, third-party outages, abuse prevention, or unforeseen events.
- Generated reports and automated fixes may contain errors or omissions and must be reviewed by you before use.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CiteFlow, CiteFlow, and their operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CiteFlow, CiteFlow, and their operators from any claim arising out of (a) your violation of these Terms, (b) your scanning of URLs you do not have permission to scan, (c) content you submit or connect, or (d) your review, deployment, or use of generated recommendations or automated fixes.
13. Service availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect an active Standard subscription or paid add-on where practical.
14. Termination
You may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time from the Billing page or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, create legal or security risk, misuse the service, or use the service in a way that risks harm to CiteFlow, CiteFlow, users, providers, or third parties.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CiteFlow is established. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause limits non-waivable rights you may have as a consumer under your local law.
16. Changes to these Terms
We will update these Terms when our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email to account holders or through the product and will not retroactively reduce paid resources already granted for the current billing period unless required by law or necessary for security, abuse prevention, or provider compliance.
